Adding games to RetroPie are simple and there are a few ways to do it. Rw-r–r– 2 root root 4096 Aug 1 00:30 atariststefalcon / Once in there you’ll see all the different systems that RetroPie supports ~ $ cd ~/RetroPie/roms $ ls -apl The directories for all the game systems are located in: /home/pi/RetroPie/roms I won’t go into how in this post but you can transfer them via FTP or having them on a USB drive and using the cp function to copy them over. rw-r–r– 2 root root 4096 Aug 1 05:26 mastersystem / rw-r–r– 2 root root 4096 Aug 1 00:30 intellivision / Once you load the roms into their respective directory the system and roms will show up in EmulationStation. Once you find them online you will copy them to the following folder: /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS In order to play GameBoy Advance, PlayStation 1, as well as a few other systems you need to load BIOS files onto the RaspberryPi. The two that I have that work are “ gba_bios.bin” for GameBoy Advance and “ SCPH1001.bin” for PlayStation 1 (These are case-sensitive files!).
